2008 RESNET Building Performance Conference to have Carbon Neutral
Footprint
RESNET will offset 100% of the carbon dioxide emissions associated
with hosting the annual conference. This includes emissions generated
from the facilities and participant travel. RESNET arranged with the
Oregon Climate Trust to offset its carbon emissions. The Oregon Climate
Trust purchases and retires "carbon credits." RESNET will offset the
emissions by purchasing energy efficiency certificates.
